This is a digital library of audio-recorded interviews with editors, authors, and global scholars from the interdisciplinary Research with International Students Network whose research includes international students as participants or co-researchers. We take a critical approach to humanize international students in research and practice. The audio interviews are hosted by Asuka Ichikawa.
Episode One:
The first audio interview focuses on ‘caring co-authorship’ and features several of the authors of Chapter 1 of Research with International Students: Joyce Thornchanok Uerpairojkit, Summer Bennett, and Meena Pannirselvam. They are in conversation with co-author and host Asuka Ichikawa and RIS co-editor Jenna Mittelmeier.

In this episode, Joyce, Summer, and Meena discuss with Asuka about their experiences of coming together initially as strangers to write Chapter 1 of Research with International Students. The discussion touches upon themes of creating caring co-authorship and community with colleagues.
